Lonesome journey

Have you ever been told how cute you are? Those words turned up to my mind, out of the blue. It was late night; midnight was left behind a while ago and I was in the kitchen, pouring last day’s coffee into my cup.

A trivial night. Nothing special. Jimmy Scott sang “Pennies from heaven”, as usual. When I realized what this song was about, another think showed up: her voice, her voice is like pennies from heaven. How I love her voice, damn!

As I said, it was night and I was alone. What I did not say –yet- is how much I miss her, and I want to be the one telling her how cute she is.
